Jati Temple, or Pura Segara Gunung Batur, is one of the important temples in the Lake and Mount Batur area, Kintamani, Bali. Tourists often refer to this temple as the “floating temple” because it appears to float when the lake water is high. It is located on the shores of Lake Batur, specifically in the Pura Jati area, which is part of the Batur Traditional Village. For the people of Batur, Pura Segara is a highly sacred place, as it is the abode of the goddess Danu, the incarnation of the god Vishnu, the preserver of all living things on earth.

Ceremonial ceremonies are often held on certain occasions to honor her and maintain harmony between humans and their creator. Pura Segara is now beautified with several tourism facilities to boost the economy of the surrounding community.
