During the trip, tourists can watch the sunrise over the back of Mount Batur with views of Lake Batur below and the Black Lava area, which is a vast expanse of black volcanic rocks resulting from the major eruptions of Mount Batur in 1927 and 1963. The tour uses a 4×4 jeep (off-road vehicle) to reach the sunrise viewpoint at an altitude of 1,350 meters above sea level, surrounded by cool mountain scenery.
